Peanut Day 2026 is tentatively scheduled for September 4 and 5 (Friday and Saturday).
Kishwaukee-DeKalb Kiwanis members will be soliciting donations for contributions to support local charities and children throughout DeKalb County. Kiwanis members will be at the street corner of First and Taylor for the annual fundraising event.
This annual event has been held in DeKalb since 1970 at various locations in the community.
In addition, complete boxes of Kiwanis peanuts (96 individual bags per box) will be available for purchase at $50 per box. They make great Halloween and holiday treats.
